I love animals! For the last 15 years I've spent every possible hour in the field camera in hand.

In 2019 I moved to Bristol to begin my wildlife filmmaking career - a dream come true.

Experience

• CAMERAWORK: I have filmed on location on Phantom VEO, RED (Raptor/Helium/Gemini), FX6 (own), Canon C300Mk3, CN20x50, CN7x17, probe & macro lenses, Bradley Remote PTZ, 3-axis mo-co slider (own) timelapse, cameratraps. I am a licensed CAA/EU drone pilot.

• SOFTWARE: Premiere Pro, Audition, DaVinci Resolve, Shotput Pro etc. I have scripted, edited and delivered 52'-minute documentaries for brodacast, both self-produced and on assignment.

• FIELDWORK: I enjoy assisting and learning from senior cinematographers and producers, but also working solo in remote locations such as Asian jungles, Alpine mountains, or the African bush.

I am a Spanish/English speaker and have clean EU/int. driving license.

• ACADEMIC: I studied an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking (UWE Bristol, 2021) following a BSc in Biology (UCM Madrid, 2019), where I specialised in animal behaviour and did a bird research internship with the MNCN Behavioural Ecology & Endocrinology Lab.

I am always keen to experiment with the latest equipment, but my greatest interest is, of course, the wildlife. Although I use drones, gimbals and sliders, what I most enjoy is the challenge of long-lens: tracking the animals, spending time with them and understanding their behaviour... to find a frame that does justice to their beauty.

...and if they are a fleeting glimpse, like the high-speed frames below, there is not even time to think!

• BBC NHU – 2022, TBA – 2nd camera on a 3-week shoot for a blue chip series. Long lens cross-shooting with the main operator and setting up motion-control timelapse.

• LIGHT & SHADOW TV – 2022-24, TBA – main long-lens camera on several international blue-chip shoots, following a 6-month stint as in-house camera assistant/kit coordination.

• SILVERBACK FILMS – 2023, TBA – PTZ remote-camera operation on 2 shoots, multi-cam setup
